OEC Industrial Dust Suppression Systems are the low cost solution to dust problems in Recycling, Concrete Crushing and Mining environments. They reduce dust levels in the working environment and reduce dust emissions to neighbours.

FOGGING SYSTEMS FOR DUST CONTROL

OEC Fogging Systems direct water at high pressure through a battery of ultra fine nozzles to create millions of ultra fine micro-droplets.


These micro-droplets adhere to individual dust particles, causing the now heavier dust to fall to the ground.

Having such fine droplets give the following benefits

  1. Droplets are approx size of dust particles improving interception of water and dust
  2. Reduced water usage (typically less than 0.5% by weight of product processed)
  3. Excess water usually evaporates from droplets rather than wetting product
  4. Less Wear and Belt Tracking Problems
  5. No wetting of personnel even directly under fog nozzles
  6. No blurring of safety glasses from water droplets

The result is an otherwise dusty site remains significantly dust free even under the most difficult hot and dry conditions.

FOG NOZZLE PLACEMENT

Fog Nozzles can either be installed in the ceiling of a building for blanket dust reduction or on dust producing plant and equipment such as:

  • Jaw crushers
  • Cone Crushers
  • Transfer Points
  • Vibrating Screens
  • Air knives
